I was inspired to write Pinky the Panda as a way to give to my children and grandchildren a part of me that they can keep forever. We always enjoy our reading time and my hope is that my stories will make my grandchildren and hundreds of other children experience the joy and wonder of books and the whole world of imaginative fun that they hold in their pages.

An Animal Lover

To tell you a little about myself….I am a mother and grandmother and I live in the United States in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

I love animals of all sorts but have always had a special spot in my heart for horses, kittens and giant pandas. I have provided foster care for several cats and kittens for a local no kill cat shelter and at one point I was caring for 21 cats all at the same time. I have also bred and raised registered paint horses.

I have been collecting giant pandas for more than 40 years. I love how they look so strong but at the same time look so pudgy and cuddly you just want to hug them. My Granddaughter is now starting her own giant panda collection .

This book will be launching on March 23rd and will be available on Amazon, Indie Bound, Barnes & Noble and Porchlight Books.
